Vienna State Ballet: Nureyev Gala 2020

For obvious reasons which I will not have to explain, this year’s „Nureyev Gala“ will not take place at the End of this Month.
At least not in the conventional way in which we are used to it.
To Manuel Legris's „farewell“ from the Opera, after 10 years working in Austria, the Vienna State Ballet will present a Streaming directly from the big Dance Studio at the Opera.

June 25th, 2020 and this worldwide and free-of-charge.
Start: 2 pm on (Middle European Time), U.K. and Portugal 1 pm., Brazil 9 am, New York 8 am etc.
The programme will be available for the next 24 hours (timeshift)
In the Gala's programme excerpts from „Sleeping Beauty“, „Giselle“ and „Don Quixote“ as well as more contemporary works like „Peter Pan“, „Peer Gynt“, „Movements to Stravinsky“ and Manuel Legris's creations „Le Corsaire“ and „Sylvia“.
Principals like Olga Esina, Nikisha Fogo, Kiyoka Hashimoto, Liudmila Konovalova, Natascha Mair, Ketevan Papava, Nina Poláková, Maria Yakovleva and Denys Cherevychko, Davide Dato, Jakob Feyferlik, Robert Gabdullin, Masayu Kimoto and Roman Lazik will dance for you!
Just after the live-Gala, the programme will continue with a kind of „Best of“ selection of the Gala Highlights' from 2010 to 2019 in which you'll not only see the soloists from the Vienna State Ballet but also many Stars from the Ballet world as guest Soloists.
