Sylvia - Royal Opera House

Looking forward to Manuel Legris’ version of “Sylvia” that will have its première next saturday… and wondering if he also used some of Sir Frederick Ashton’s version (and not only Mérante’s which was never a success) as a “base” for it… since all the best known “revivals” of it until now were based upon this particular 1952 version…
