"So much to tell" (by Peter Breuer): Pas de Quatre "reinvented"

During a trip to Japan in 1979, exactly to the World Ballet Festival in Tokyo, the famous "Pas de Quatre" was danced by none others then Carla Fracci , Alicia Alonso, Eva Evdokimova and Ghislaine Thesmar...

The boys in the tour were naughty ones and prepared for the next evening a "parody" of it... and the audience nearly "fell apart"... Here Cyrill Athanasoff, Peter Breuer, Vladimir Vassiliev and  Jimmy Urban (in the front Fernando Bujones). They used the "girls' costumes" which had to be sewn on the back for obvious reasons... but isn't this marvelous? I am blessed with the opportunity of "saving history"!

Many Thanks to Peter Breuer for letting me use these pictures - and telling me such a wonderful story! Many other ones will follow...
