Vienna, June 26th 2020: Manuel Legris's Farewell to the "Members of the fourth Estate"

Since yesterday there was some Nostalgia in the air:

Manuel Legris's era in the Vienna State Opera coming to an end after 10 brilliant years and so many dancers leaving the company... Yesterday I chose not to go to the Streaming of this year's Nureyev Gala at the Opera as I thought it was more of an event to the Dancers. And I was right.

Today at the invitation from Mr Meyer and Manuel Legris, I joined some members of the press at a Farewell Event for the members "of the Fourth Estate". On his last public appearance in Austria, it was good, a real joy to have this long, very personal talk with Manuel and be able to say personally "THANK YOU" for all the treasured moments of joy he has given us during these last ten years. A unique time for a Balletomane! I am very proud of having been a witness to that! See you in Milano - for sure!
