Congratulations to Tristan Ridel & Szolt Török (Vienna State Ballet): Support prizes 2019

There is a fan club in Vienna, called “Ballet Club of the Vienna State Opera & Volksopera”.

I am not a member. Primarily because “being a fan” is not my relation to dance. On top of that, I do not really share their visions, that, to my way of thinking are strongly “dictated” by Hierarchy and unnecessary Viennese Formality. “A very old-fashioned idea to my mind”, as Julie Andrews would have wisely said it in Mary Poppins!

But if people like it… and feel comfortable with it… why not? I have nothing against it. But, honestly, I have always kept a healthy distance from such organizations ;-)

I do really have a feeling that such articles, written by me, like

(in which both tallented dancers were mentioned) do help broadening a bit the mentality of ballet fans.

attitudes congratulates both of you! Bravo and keep on the good work!
