What happened to technique and doing things properly?

More and more I see Dancers, while doing tendus, not “caressing” and using the floor with their heels… Please… It is so important to the inner musculature of the legs. I was speechless to see a video of quite a good principal, who is taking a one-year leave at the moment, doing tendus with heels that never touched the floor. No work on the inner muscles of your legs? How can one not master THAT and at the same time give Masterclasses?

Not a triviality but a thing of utter importance. Still: to work properly… consciously. Quo Vadis, Knowledge?
